Sport massage is applicable in three stages or three protocols. 1 befor the race15-20 minutes, 2 during the race 10-15 minutes, 3 after the race 20-30 minutes.

The purpose of performing pre- competition techniques is warming up the muscles and increasing the blood circulation cycle and use the motivational Techniques. In the during the competition protocol, just like the stage before the competition, the goal is to keep the Athlete,s body ready to continue working. But in the post-race stage, the goal is to calm down and  helping to eliminate blood waste, lymph drainage and make a relaxation. Therefore different techniques are used which can be different according to the Athlete sports field. 

Tip: 3 factors are important in massage: 1 hand pressure, 2 The direction of techniques  movement,3 masseur hand,s speed.

In performing sport massage, we divide the massage recipient,s body in to three parts. 

1upper body: that include the hands, 2middle body which include from the waist up to the back of the neck , 3 The lower body, which include the legs. 

Therefore, we classified the proposed techniques in 3 protocols very short and useful. You don't have to make it complicated. It's just enough according to the sports field of Athlete, from each category for every part of the body, choose the right technique and do it. This work depends on the skills of masseur. 

First protocol: before the race massage/ upper body

stroke: v-strok,effleurage

petrisage: kneeding

Shaking: shaking, vibration

Tapotment: pincement, Tapping, slapping

Middle body:

stroke: T-stroke, Fan-stroke,criss-crass, knockel stroke

shaking: shaking, vibration, josting

Tapotment: beating, punding, chap-chap

lower body:

stroke: v-stroke, criss-crass, knockel stroke

petrisage: kneeding

Shaking: shaking, vibration

Tapotment: Hacking, beating, punding

The second protocol: during the race massage

in this protocol, we use only three techniques for upper, middle and lower body.Because the only goal in this protocol is to keep the Athlete,s body ready to continue working. 

Shaking: shaking, vibration, justing

Petrisage: kneeding

Tapotment: beating, punding, slaping, pincement, hacking

The third protocol: after the race massage

upper body:

stroke: v-stroke, effleurage

petrisage: kneeding, picking up

friction: cross fiber

compration: masele squzing

stroke: v- stroke

middle body:

stroke: effleurage, v-stroke, T-stroke, knocle strock

Friction: Cross Fiber

Petrisage: kneeding, wringing, skill rolling

Compration: masele brodening, compration static +dynamic

Stroke: effleurage

lower body:

Stroke: effleurage, v-stroke, knockel stroke

friction: crass fiber

petrisage: kneeding, picking up, wringing

Compration: compration static+dynamic, masele squzing, masele brodening, effleurage
